Does everyone here saying Zane and Shawn Ray are over rated understand how incredibly cut, symmetrical, and incredible they look? I think lots of people get blinded by the mass of guys like Ruhl and looks at Shawn Ray and Frank Zane and think they are too small or something, looking past their incredibly perfectly symmetrical and perfectly developed, slender physiques.
Under: Dave Draper, Serge Nubret, Gary Strydem and Johnny Jackson
Over: Branch Warren. His body is hideous to me.

underated: troy alves, dugdale ( both possess qualities other pro's could only dream of)
overated: branch warren( lacks so many things eg a good upperbody in total looks like keving english long lost brother)
dorian yates----after looking closley at all his olympia appearances he lacked too many thing and should not have won that many titles.
jay cutler----also has 2 titles that he should not have won at all 2007 , 2010

Explaining as to why and only talking of the last couple years.
Underrated: Branch Warren.
The guy has been improving year after year, show after show. Has a tight midesection at "250"lbs. More muscle than anyone packed on that tiny frame, world class legs & chest.
An ASC Winner, New York Pro Winner, 2nd and 3rd place in the Olympia.
Yet people give him sh*t all the time because he doesn't look aesthetic in some poses or because he has bad arms.
He compensates by packing on tons of beef and being more conditioned than anyone on stage.
Overrated: Phil Heath, Jay Cutler, Roelly... Just to name a few.
Phil Heath hasn't done much to deserve so much hype. Yes he was 2nd and third in the Olympia already but 2008 he didn't faced any type of tough competition and in 2010 guys that could/would potentially beat him were off.
No ASC win to speak of. Has 3 pro wins on 3 small shows.
Jay Cutler, yes the guy is a 4 time Mr.Olympia and deserved 2 of those 4 titles. Yes he is big & wide & has an awesome quad but that's about it.
Physique wise is mind-blowing how he has been a Top 2 guy for 10 years now.John "The pro architect" Hollywood

Thank you, Scrotus.
People, please tell us WHY you think your picks are overrated or underrated. Give us some reasons. We're dodging more ninjitsu attacks than Flex Wheeler. We're ducking more bullets than George Farah. We're facing more death than a kid leg pressing at Branch Warren's gym.
You can't stop us. You can't hold us back.

Under-rated has to be Lee Haney. When I first got into lifting and bodybuilding I quickly learnt about a few others but never knew his name till a while after. The guy has won 8 Olympias - needs a lot more hype.

Currently these come to mind
Under-Branch Warren, gets alot of hate because he's not got the prettiest look but thats genetics lol, he is thick and shredded to the bone nearly every show, he makes guys with good conditioning look soft. Jose Raymond also....alot like branch in the 202class, hard and grainy as hell.....if anyone has a chance to beat english its him.
Over-Jay Cutler, seriously hope he gets beat this year. Big, but blocky as f*ck, and his conditioning is never impressive minus what he brought the year after dex beat him. Roelly is as well, i think eventually he will be a force if he takes some time but right now he just gets alot of pub when he's never really brought it other than the ny pro a coule yrs back.

Under: zane
Over: Ronnie Coleman
Zane had the most symmetric, aesthethic and beautiful body of all time. It is the very essence of body building and how the body should look like modeled after the ancient greeks.
Coleman killed the sport, he is way to massive and its just proportional and monster-like. Still it took alot of hard work and dedicated to become where he is and i respect that and good luck to his training...:::MSU MISC:::..
