what should I take for gains?!?!

I recently picked up lifting, but now wondering what should I take creatine? Or whey protein? As far as supplements I take fish oil & multi-vitamins (Vitafusion)

you just started lifting so odds are you are not lifting heavy enough for creatine to be of use to you. Also since you just started lifting, you should not lift heavy anyway as this can lead to muscle, ligament and/or tendon injuries

just eat a few extra calories per day. the fish oil, and multi wont hurt but also wont help you get stronger. Id rather you just eat fish. an inexpensive multi vitamin wont hurt but studies dont show that you need them if you eat well.

    hope this helps

The basic supplements are creatine, multi, and fish oil. To get "gains" you need to be eating enough and training efficiently.

Heavy is a relative term. There's no problem with lifting 90%+ weight if your technique is appropriate. Intracellular hydration is good regardless of goals, so creatine would be fine to add.

You should focus on getting a proper diet for your goals and utilizing a routine that is in line with those goals.

You aren't going to get big by taking supplements. You are going to get bigger with consistent effort in the gym and kitchen.

Visit the nutrition and workout section as they will be more relevant to reaching your goals

first thing you need to go read up on nutrition then I'd say get some creatine since its dirt cheap and effective.

The basics are gonna be creatine, multi vitamin, fish oil, and maybe vitamin d3 depending on how much time you spend in that Arizona sun.

If you need the boost before your workouts you can cover that creatine need with a preworkout such as ErgoBlast

op, if you're looking for supplements to add to your current stack, creatine and whey would be a good choice.
