To carb cycle... yay or nay?
Macros:
2000 Cals
175g Carbs
200g Protein
75g Fats
3rd week in, feeling great, losing some weight but I feel like im still carrying around abit of water?
I was wondering if carb cycling say 3 low 4 high (work out days) would be a more efficient way of cutting?
GTFO if all your gonna say is IIFYM. Looking for some genuine opinions here. Thanks alot.

are you eating pretty clean cals? and for the water, drink about 1.5-2 gallons every single day....youll notice a huge difference in your weight in the morning after you go to the b-room

I'm curious about this too---I've read a lot about it and can't find any hard proof that it works, or doesn't work, beyond just maintaing a deficit. I've found though, that I kick ass in the gym the day after I go overboard with food (which usually means lots of carbs.)

IIFYM....
Nah seriously though it shouldn't make too much of a difference. As long as you stay in a defecit you should be good. If you hit a plateau that you can't seem to break through then try it. That's what worked for me at least.

Lyle McDonald makes a pretty convincing case for calorie/carb cycling in UD2.0. He touches on it quite a bit in these excerpts. He would argue that its very good for getting rid of the last bit of stubborn fat and not worthwhile till sub 15% body fat.

Yep my diet is pretty strict for a 17 year old haha. Cals come from lean meats, rice bran oil, oat meal, brown rice and veggies pretty much.
I'll try drinking alot more water too.

calories are way too low for your stats, even for severe fat loss.
oh, and IIFYM
No seriously, IIFYM! Carb cyclin is nothing more than a tool one can use (you don't have to at all) to match activity with calories. let's say you got a leg day, take in 500 calories more than your goal in that post workout meal. Then next day let's say you got a rest day, take in 500 calories less than daily goal calories. Keep protein and fat same on all days thou. There is your non-linear (best kind) carb cycling, done, simple.
