    Question Intermittent fasting--"leangains" to bulk?

I was wondering if anyone has any experience/tips using IF to bulk? From what I've seen so far its more to cut, but it CAN be used to bulk.

It seems simple enough as a regular portion diet.. "more calories=weight gain, less calories=weight loss" with the only problem being eating so many calories in such a "short" time.

    Anyone?

If you think eating the calories in that short of time span is a problem....LG is not for you. It's not magic, if it fits your life and eating style it's good if it doesn't....find something that does. Anything non retarded that you adhere to 100% will get you the best results every time.

Im sure it works....but it would suck to eat bulking calories in a certain amount of time after a while.

If you follow the leangains protocols for bulking (as hazy as they are at this point before the book comes out)

It's +3-500 calories on lifting days, maintenance on rest days.

Would the results be any different than if you did a constant 150-250 calorie surplus every day? Correct me if I'm wrong, but the surplus on w/o days, maintenance on rest thing kind of looks like the same thing as using leangains to recomp, just plus a few hundred calories, give or take. Of course, that makes sense haha

I tried looking for the 'bulking" protocol' for leangains but couldn't find it

No I don't mind eating all the calories in a few sittings. I meant that that was the only "negative" thing that ppl pointed out from what I've read so far. But as far as im concerned I don't mind. Being a college student usually it is just easier to eat large portions rather than trying to eat many times a day.

You could average it out, but it wouldn't be Leangains. He calls for more carbs and calories on workout days. The eight hour eating window is not the entire protocol.
