    1000mg = 1g BCAA
    1g bcaa = 1g protein
    1g protein = 4kcals

    1g of bcaas is doing nothing for you. The only time amino supplementation is really necessary is when you're in a fasted state, but even with that 1g will do nothing for you.
    Supplement a good diet: don't diet on supplements.

    This. And remember you are getting BCAAs from other protein sources also.
