I got this new job where I can only eat one meal in 8 and a half hours. They have two ten minute breaks, but the set up sucks. It takes 10 minutes to get to and from the breakroom (the only place you're allowed to eat) because you have to go through inventory control securty and get wand down. Thus, no time to eat.
The only time I can eat is at lunch and I only have about 15 minutes to eat. Does the body adapt to a new schedule like this? Will I get used to eating a majority of my calories in the evenings? Cause right now I'm starving throughout the day. I eat a diet consisting mostly of whole foods so I eat very often (about every two hours). They tend to be low calorie meals instead of the high calorie over-processed fast food type meals.
Thanks!

Where in the world do you live? If it is anywhere in the US they are breaking some serious labor laws.

I know what you were trying to say...but this made me laugh (it's HIPAA).
To the OP, it turns out, you don't need to eat every 2-3 hours. Your body will not metabollically shut down if you go 4 hours between meals. It's not even intermittent fasting, it's just waiting for lunch like the majority of the world does. You will adapt and be fine.
