Do empty fat cells effect your appearance?

Does the number of fat cells in your body, if empty, have any effect on your physical appearance?

I know it effects how quickly you regain weight back since it makes it easier for your body to store more fat rather than having to make new fat cells it can use the ones it already has.

Unless you screw with DNP you can't get rid of fat cells. Just watch your diet and worry about making YOURSELF look the best YOU can.

Well im not sure either, but theres this guy in my gym, whos good a good body but theres literaly a skin that hangs over his trousers (not fat just skin) so that got me wondering was he really fat a long time ago??

But then again you see really fat people losing weight and becoming lean mean and maybe fat grilling machines and there fine.
Stop being beta. I know its chit but, if we dont go through the bad times how are we all gona make it?

Lose skin is a different issue from "empty" fat cells. Lose skin is just that-excess skin after someone has lost a significant amount of weight.

I think empty fat cells may be able to temporarily change your appearance. There are theories that a fat cell will temporarily fill up with water after the fatty acids in it have been mobilized (can't remember where I read it). This may explain why weight/fat levels may remain static for a week or so then suddenly drop when someone is dieting--you see that kind of thing all the time on the Biggest Loser, etc. But the only "change" here would be a delay in weight loss.

As far as I know, only cosmetic surgery can actually destroy/remove a fat cell.

So it all boils down to achieving a negative calorie balance, be patient and drop the fat.
