what do you mean why did i need a baseball bat? I didnt know what sort of dog it was just heard the barks and kids screaming, first thing to hand plus didnt want to get bitten...

If you mean why did I have a baseball bat in my shed, because we got burgled years ago and my dad thought buying a baseball bat was a good idea and at the time he worked for a engineering compnay that specialised in graphite and carbon kevlar protective equipment (army helmets, kevlar vest, etc) and they had some excess on graphite baseball bats they made, my dad got a bunch of 6, gave a couple to friends. We kept 3, 2 in the house and 1 in the garage that we messed about with occasionally...

We were very lucky that the dog got the hood of my sis's coat. One of my friends got bitten by a dog when he was 4 and it ripped his cheek off literally and has crazy scars now
