I have a whey protein weight gainer (includes creatine and glutamine) that says "best by 7/2010", which means its about a year past expiration. It hasn't been opened and the SEAL HAS NOT BEEN OPENED. So- do you guys think it would be safe to use? Thanks.

It should be fine. The bio availability might be a little lower but I don't think it will be an issue. I bought some dirt cheap protein online, got it, and it was 18 months past sell by. (In all fairness it was 5lbs for 28$). It clumped pretty bad unless blended. You could try and pull some shinanigans and contact a local supp shop and say you purchased it there and it past sell by. Or say it got sold to you and call the original company. They might replace it.

I agree with the rest. i am a biology major and have gone through the whole process of bodyworks haha. you should be fine as proteins in our body cant really expire either. however, if water or condensation has entered (clumps exists) that portion will not be good because it is technically "used up" already. by this i mean the chemical reaction of the product has already started and finished and will no longer have an effect on your body.
Goodluck with the lifting!"Can't" is the cancer of Happen.
"Obssessed" is a word the lazy use to describe the "Dedicated."

TWO YEARS EXPIRED and mine's still fine.
Have been using an opened 10lb bag of ON's 100% Whey - Vanilla Ice Cream for a month now that was TWO YEARS expired. I was leery, but live in a dry climate and it was in a dark cabinet. Decided to give it a try. Been using two scoops twice daily.
The consistency, taste and results are the same as when I had first opened it, before the expiration date. Very glad I didn't throw it out, as I had about six pounds of it remaining. Seeing good gains with my workout and whey supplementation.
