HELP! Searing forearm pain after bicep curls

This is something that has given me trouble lately. It was much worse when I first began lifting when I had less experience but has recently flared up again. I get searing pain in my forearm after doing bicep curls. I mean the pain at times is excruciating, there seems to be a hot spot about half way between my elbow and my wrist and if I even tap it pain shoots along my entire forearm. It doesnt feel like muscle pain or soreness more like bone pain, Im not sure. Its mostly in my left arm which is also weird, maybe because I am a righty? When it first started I totally stopped doing regular curls and switched to hammer curls and it helped, this has not happened in a while but I recently started doing regular curls again. I blame today's pain on doubling up on biceps last week and then doing them again today. I am not lifting too much weight either, I can bang out 8-10 reps with out a problem. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I understand your problem, OP. I was experiencing the same kind of forearm pain in my left arm, when I first started training. Because, your less dominant arm is obviously going to be weaker than the other. The weight you have chosen might be a little bit too stressful for your left arm (even though you said it isn't), so drop the weight and try increase your repetitions. Also, you may have weak forearms, so continue your hammer curls like you said, to strengthen that area. Furthermore, when I was experiencing this problem, I stopped doing bicep curls, and instead focused on concentration curls, wide-grip barbell curls, and cable curls.
