Lulz.
If his feet have to stay on the floor... I mean, when he takes them off, that is pretty much where they stay, right? USAPL: three whites? No way his butt is coming off the bench!
All jokes aside, I am im-fcuking-pressed. weight may be 405, but you take away all of the leverage and mechanical advantage that the rest of us have and I'd say he is a long shot stronger than most guys with a 405 bench. Good stuff.GoRuck Challenge Journal: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=150446113

Videos like this are pretty incredible. I kind of want to try 405 with my feet up now to see if I can even do it.. but I'm scared. Reminds me of this woman in a wheel chair who benched 286 in the 132's that pretty much no one's ever heard of.

He hit 420 the other day. He is supposed to be posting a vid. I did some research and for the Paralympic world record for his weight he is about 60lbs away if he cut about 5lbs he would only be about 25lbs away. I'm going to do my best to get him to go for the US Paralympic team.
Without cutting any weight he is less than 5lbs from breaking the American Disabled record according to disabledpowerlifting.org which is directly linked from the Paralympic page.

Yeah, she's won the Paralympics several times. She's also benched like 286 in the IPF.
OP: Has your friend tried the strapping to the bench thing? It seems like most disabled lifters are able to do that in competition. He'd probably have 10-15 more pounds just from the added stability.Best Sanctioned Lifts (USPA/USAPL):
