ideas to turn my front lawn into a driveway? (srs) (reps)

so long story short I need to turn my lawn into a driveway. I do not want to park on the grass and deal with all the mud and crap and destruction to the lawn does not matter. I am thinking of buying some large wooden boards from home depot and drilling them into the soil. Is there any product made to do this type of thing or would what I just mentioned be my best bet?

    ideas are greatly appreciated!
    Thanks!

Now that I've thought about it, you could indeed lash some boards together and then afterwards hammer something like a HEAVY duty tent post through the corners of your driveway/raft into the ground. It wouldn't actually be a tent post, but would have to be fairly long and thick (no homo).

well the first choice would be cement.....not that hard.

If you are too stupid or lazy you could lay down outdoor stones/bricks they sell for yards.

    Home Depot.

thanks for the replies guys. I couldn't use gravel/brick/lay cobblestone because the idea would also be to make it easier to shovel in the winter. I don't care about how it looks because I will only be parking it there in the winter when it's covered by snow and the fact that I don't give a sh!t anyway. I'm not doing cement or pavement because I don't own the property but the landlord told me to park on the lawn so that's what I'm going to do but it's a little difficult to shovel lawn nomsayin?
