candida diet: can you suggest protein foods?

I'm on the Candida diet because I have a Candida overgrowth and my diet has become very limited so that my body can get rid of this problem. The diet is very limited and I have lost 23 lbs so far. What protein foods/powder can you suggest for me to use/eat?

    food allowed: http://www.thecandidadiet.com/foodstoeat.htm

    not allowed
sugar of any type (including but not limited to fruits, honey, etc.)
    salt (processed)
    gluten/yeast
    starchy foods
    dairy products, etc
    no processed foods (meat, etc.)
    leftovers
    moldy foods (peanuts, etc.)

My diet is basically lean meats and low carb/starch vegetables.

In regards to a protein powder, I know that some are lactose free but I need a powder that is allowed in this diet.

    Thank you in advance.

    Question

How do you know you have candida? You have an endoscopy to confirm this?

    candidaholistic

There's a very informative site with lots of information on how to eliminate candida long-term and find healthy diet options to replace foods that feed the candida. You can visit candidaholistic . com Her detox has also been immensely helpful to my recovery and I seriously recommend it
