why? it's like this I wouldn't want to have a gf/wife that only I thought was pretty because if that's the case she ain't pretty. If my gf/wife is smokin' then best believe I won't be the only one who thinks so other guys/girls will too. beauty is determined by the masses whether you accept it or not. just because you believe you look good means nothing. If you're truly nice looking it will be a general consensus on your looks it will be much more positive than negative towards your looks. I hate when the fattest woman you have ever seen will try to fit into small clothes and have the nerve to say, "I know I look good!" yeah right

I don't get insecure from what I see in magazines/media. I know my body is far from "perfection" and has flaws, but I don't compare myself to these "Greek Gods" because I know it's silly to. The same should go for women too; they have no excuse to get insecure when self beauty comes within. However, it's an entirely different thing to dismiss your flaws, claim you're absolutely beautiful, and make excuses for not working on those flaws. Also, being overweight isn't just a matter of beauty, but a matter of health. Obese/overweight people (not just girls, GUYS too) are severely putting their health at risk and to make excuses not to fix that is just down right pathetic.Obsession is what lazy people call dedication
