You don't have to be a "badass" to really get into The Marines these days. It is the Marine's mission to make the individual pullies into fit, well endured fighting machines though. The question's answer depends on the individual people involved as well. Marines are taught karate during basic training, but not all of them pursue getting a higher degree black belt, for example(most likely because the MOS they are enlisting for doesn't require them to know too much about fighting). I'd say the five Marines would win if they were all well trained individuals.

Well just going from personal experience every marine I've ever met was significantly smaller than me and I'm not a massive guy. There are big marines out there but they're far from the majority.
"The average height of military personnel in the United States is anywhere between 5 foot nine and 6 feet tall. The average weight is about 180 pounds"
This came from USMC.net if makes a difference.

Your fear is simply because you are not living with life. You are living in your mind. Your fear is always about what's going to happen next. That means your fear is always about that which does not exist. If your fear is about the nonexistent, your fear is 100% imaginary. If you are suffering the non-existential, we call that insanity. If you are rooted in reality, there would be no fear.

being a prior Marine...its hard to say. I knew some of the people I served with could fight very very well. And others were complete *******s. Again Depends on which 5 Marines we are speaking of. I will say I dont know and leave it at that. And I dont know If I would win in a fight against an MMA person. Probably not since my cardio isnt were it use to be.

The MMA fighter CHAMPIONS would definitely win.
As a Former Marine, I can tell you that the Marine Corps H2H training is VERY basic. The champions would have a lot more training and experience in h2h than the 5 Marines.
Oh and believe me, all Marines aren't some bad ass elite warriors. I've come across plenty of little pussy ass kunts who were Marines.
In my opinion, Marines still live off of the reputation their grandaddies built back in WWII and Korea and sh!t, back when the Marines were some real savage, bloodthirsty mother****ers.Last edited by kratosbrah; 06-21-2011 at 02:20 PM.
