i am a 42 year old male looking to do my first show in 2013 here in Florida. I know this contest will keep me dedicated to my training. I am at 211lbs looking to be 230-240lbs by time the show comes along. I am looking to get my first sponsor before the show comes I hope this helps by doing this contest with companies and they look at what I have done. Good luck to all contestants..

update
Training has been going well so far. Went up in weight and it has been two weeks Bench 30lbs and Flyes 20lbs both went up, all I am taking is everlast supplements.. something is going good for me. I weighed in this morning I was at 210.6lbs I lost 2 lbs in two weeks.

Shoulder workout
Shoulder workout went well. weight was ok wish it could of been higher. I have to watch out for how much weight i use due to an old injury will be working on adding more weight as time goes. Diet has been good. mostly chicken,fish brown rice fresh veggies and sweet potato's. Today 6/30/2011 I will be working on abs and legs. feeling good not so sore this time around My body is getting use to it with the weight I am using. I have posted my workouts on the workout tracker, This has helped me out alot with training. I am also keeping another log for my self when I go tot the gym so I can see what I am doing every time.

Training has been going good, It could be better. Had a few speed bumps that came up. Training suffered for a day or so. got back on track Saturday Morning. feeling good so far. Hitting the gym tonight. Legs will be assaulted by time I am done.

Turned out legs last night felt great been a while have to take it easy on the legs. Trying not to injure the knee again. Over my training is going well looking to kill it in the gym and assault abs. have a new training partner now she is wonderful.

training is going well, have a new training partner when my reg one is not with me. My wife has joined me in the gym. It has been very productive since my wife is there with me and for me. great things are going to come.. when we reach the 8 week mark I am going to do another set of pictures even tho we don't have to..

Chest workout
Killed it in the gym last night. Chest is feeling really good today sore.
Workout as follows
Incline Bench press 3 sets 10 reps 135lbs
Flat dumbbell press 4 sets 10 reps 50lbs

Weight is back up to 210.8 so I have not have a big change in weight so far. This is a good thing at this time. looking to be 230 when I am done. may not hit it by time this challenge is over but i will by the end of the year. 20 lbs to go. Cal intake is at 3480 a day. cardio every morning feeling good about that. I am having about 5 meals a day and two in between snacks. Protein bar, or nuts with a shake. tonight I am working on Chest, shoulders, and arms. time to move it up some. Looking to DB press 55lbs tonight that will make it a total of 20 lbs in two weeks on the press and bench without a spotter will go for 155lbs tonight. Go to go slow with out my workout partner with me. Wife can't pull it up if needed when I go that extra rep. will do an up date and post the workout tomorrow.

training went well last night, diet was also good yesterday. Took measurements and pictures but made the mistake of taking them after I had my food. not a good idea lol. will be taking some more this week. I am happy with the progress. Chest is starting to see some growth, losing some in the mid section. Hoping to see more results in the coming weeks. Did morning cardio this morning before work had to cut it short 20 minutes.

Ok today is arm day and how much better can this get. Just found out I am out of work early today some I get to have extra time in the gym... cardio then assault Arms tonight and prepare food for the next few days of work... feeling good and preparing for the next adventure that will start after this transformation is over. great thing are coming watch out The (A.K.A. Ok I am almost at the end of week three been training like crazy. I see some results but not much, I have been in the gym 6 days a week and cardio just went up to 2x's a day, need to fix something. I will get it figured out. we do have another 13 weeks to go so I know I can do this. Going for some more legs tonight

I understand Bro, so far my body is doing good. I had to take last night off from training so i had an extra day of rest. My next one will be on Saturday. Training is going well so is my diet. I just went up a pound so I guess that is good. looking to be 230 by contest time. should be in August/October 2012. I went up in weight on my DB press should be at 60lbs this coming week and leg extension is at 120lbs leg curls 70lbs... Legs will be feeling it later

Ok training is going well as the same for the diet. looking to add more weight this week. bench is stuck at 155lbs for now. shoulder is feeling good so far. cardio still stands at 2x's a day and training is 6 six days. If I feel i need that extra rest day i will take it. I am seeing some changes in my body already losing some in the mid section. i still have to work the abs harder to get where i would like to be at. almost at the end of week 3 looking forward to many more great weeks .
