    Oh lawd, not this **** again. Kipping pullups are for a completely different purpose than regular pullups. Kipping is a full body dynamic exercise used for increased power output. It's not for building your lats. That being said most crossfitters completely butcher the movement.

    Edit: I'm not a crossfitter though I have messed around with some of it in the past.

    i'm unaware about all the mysticism about crossfit. Isn't it all about endurance? Like when a guy does 20-30 reps? Seems good for overall health but is it good for other gains?

    i don't do crossfit, but a friend of mine does and he's gotten in pretty good shape. i just happen to prefer a more structured workout plan. i like block periodization.

    good luck finding the space for a 200lb monster truck tire, a place to do chins, a spot to do jerk and clean. they do these in timed intervals.

    they don't always need a tire, they have alternatives if you don't have the equipment. if a gym has space for a deadlift, they have space for a oly lifts. if your gym doesn't have a pullup bar, get a new gym.
