Oh lawd, not this **** again. Kipping pullups are for a completely different purpose than regular pullups. Kipping is a full body dynamic exercise used for increased power output. It's not for building your lats. That being said most crossfitters completely butcher the movement.
Edit: I'm not a crossfitter though I have messed around with some of it in the past.

OKay... That seems interesting and a good workout, but at the end of the day they are just average in everything, average runner, average body (for a lifter), average lifts for a lifter. I guess it could sort of work for an MMA work out.
But if you had a specific goal in mind with your lifting (like most people do) IE: looking good, power lifting, football, or running long distance, you'd accomplish your goals much quicker and easier by doing a program designed for what you want to do.
So personally I don't see much point to it, but if you had nothing else to do, and wanted to get in good shape then I guess it'd be a good program. lol it looks like it worked well for the girls.

yeah but you don't need to go to a specific crossfit gym to do it. you can just follow the workouts on crossfit.com
i don't do crossfit, but a friend of mine does and he's gotten in pretty good shape. i just happen to prefer a more structured workout plan. i like block periodization.MISC STRENGTH CREW
