anything to do with sport is like that really, like in australia cricket is huge and i find it pretty pathetic that team selections are treated as seriously as the most current terrorist attack in the news,
but entertainnment is the essenese of life i suppose, therefore is big money and important, even though it is not

naww man, cricket is just cricket, nothing special at the end of the day, at least with golf you know you are watching a show of absolute finesse and skill.
edit: and yeah, golf is like any other sport, many guys try to get the absolute most out of their bodies. Surely you have heard the rumours about Tiger and doping? Every player is looking for that extra 10m on his swing, whilst keeping his putting game upto scratch, golf is a trade-off between brute strength and skill, but it is unlikely you can win without displaying both ends of the spectrum

brb playing a game in the Garden Of Eden.
Golf is an extremely hard game to play. The correct golf swing is absolutely not something that comes natural. It must be learned.
Being able hit the ball 250-300 yards and put it where you were aiming is an extremely satisfying and redeeming feeling. Considering all the damn work it takes to do so.
Now being able to not only hit the ball like that but then be able to shape your shots from left to right or vice versa is another redeeming feeling.
Once you play the game you'll have a whole new respect for professional golf. You really WANT to be there with them. And watching the skill it takes to pull off the shyt they do is fun.

No he can't, at all. You obviously know nothing about golf, because it literally takes precision with every part of your body to be able to constantly drive a ball as straight and far as a PGA tour player.
I tell you what OP. I'll give you 1000 golf balls and if you can hit 10 of them for 320+ yards and land them in a fairway, I'll give you $100.
