+1.
@Prof, Korean is definitely different from Chinese and Japanese, and understanding the difference as you have already shown will put you steps ahead of most people who start learning the language. As for your 2nd half of the question, yes, knowing Chinese characters definitely helps but it's not a requirement; if you want to get into academics in Korea, it's almost a requirement.
For most people looking to simply learn the language, it's something that you can wait on. For newspapers, they often use hanja (not as much as they used to in the past) but knowing hangul alone should be enough.

Hmmm lets see....
I would go to the places I "haven't" been to yet, or places I still enjoy going to.
I would first start off landing in Jeju Island. I would then go Halla-San mountain climbing in Jeju island. I would then take the boat to Inchon or anywhere near Busan. Upon arrival to Busan, I would go bungee jumping then sky diving into Seoul Korea.
Once I land in Seoul, I would head to Lotte world or Caribbean bay (of course bring a girl with you). Afterward I would head to Dongdaemun and shop. Then I would head to Coex mall and shop some more. Afterward I would head straight to the Casino right next door and put $100 on my favorite number on Roulette. (win or lose, doesn't matter).
Lastly, I would take the Limo to Haeundae and I would rent a pent house near the Haeundae beach and invite as many pretty girls as possible.. Go out and allow others to start mirin my aesthetics. And yeah, maybe have a few drinks haha.. Sniff *******, and get into beer bottle fights with random strangers. etc..
Yeah.. that's how I would spend 1 day in Korea.. 100% srs (assuming I was rich, otherwise cancel the Haeundae part)
Me too brah.. me too~
Well what are you waiting for? Respect the Korea Krew Sig.
Btw, what did you do to get the job? I'm very interestedIf you are a fitness photographer with at least a few years of experience, I may be interested in your work. PM for more details

Not big at all. Would you get laid instantly? definitely not haha. Still need to know how to move and talk. It's about your "aura".
