Okay so i was watching a youtube channel where they showed these 2 bodybuilders being interviewed.
Anyways they said thats all they do, and they live it 24 hours. I'm guessing because of all the meals its like a full time job. They even have their own personal trainer.
My question: Do these guys have jobs at all? Like these guys said they were competiting, but that could be in any show, they were approxiamtely 265lbs and said they were going to go on stage at 225lbs.
With that being said do you guys think these bodybuilders have a full time job to put food on the table for them, or do you think all they do is bodybuilding.
How much money can you make from bodybuilding shows?
I know the top guys like cuter, and coleman barely make a million bucks.
So ya do you think serious bodybuilders have another job and how much can you make from competition if you win?

Get a worthwhile degree and try landing yourself a steady, successful, and as high as paying of a job you can get.
Do you know how many bodybuilders try to make it to the big stage? Do you know how many fail? Better yet, how many bodybuilders live in a million dollar plus house? Not working elsewhere? I thought so.
Dude, unless you are that VERY special person, you have the connections and capabilities to make it big, just focus on getting a good job while staying fit, not trying to make a career out of something that is hit or miss with relatively not much money.

I see most of you guys are referring to the Pro BBers, which are mainly the ones who get paid through endorsements, sponsorships, magazine photo shoots, etc. The BBers who usually know they can't place Top 10 in a big show (Mr. Olympia, Arnold Classic, etc) do lots of smaller shows and also offer to do guest poses to make some extra income. Not to mention a lot of them are paid for being in the photo shoots and interviews most of the time.
Now when you're talking Amateur BBing, you hardly get paid. Very few (if any) Amateur shows exist that give out cash prizes for placing high. A lot of Amateur BBers have to take on their "real" career path like working in offices or as cops or whatnot to make an acceptable income to fuel supplement expenses and diets.
Ask yourself how you do it. I'm sure you guys who have jobs pay for your memberships, food, supplements, clothes, etc. and somehow find ways to make ends meet.

Doing what you are passionate about > Money. I truly believe that but again its always best to have a educational background because that is what makes the difference out in the world. The guy who pushes himself to succeed will always outdo the bastard who doesn't do anything and has everything given to him.
