Hey,
I know this probably seems like a really simple question but what is the differece between carbs and calories?

Calories are a unit to measure energy (think watts, joules). In this case, 1 calorie is the unit to raise 1g of water by 1 degree celcius (around 4.2 joules)
Edit: Food is actually in Kcals, we just refer to them as calories in the US
Carbohydrates are macromolecules consisting of any CH(2)O variation. Carbohydrates provide energy (calories).
