Average weight for a 6 foot 1 person

I was just wondering what the average weight for a 6 foot 1 person should be if i had a 34/36 inch waist and a bit of muscle so i wasnt a stick as i'm a bid undecided as to what weight i should try and aim to be.

I'm 6'1" and 176. Beyond that, I don't know. Averages are for conformists.

It's just a number, and it really depends on how much muscle you have.

I have no way to gauge BF% right now, so I honestly don't know.

    How big am I? 176lbs???

    Not sure what that means.

i was just wondered what your lifting stats were and whether you were sort of athletic at 176 pounds or fairly muscular?

judging by your avatar--You will look pretty good at 185/190 given your muscle base. When I was 210, I was much dumpier and flabby than you are. Like I said, weight is just a number.

i know weights just a number but it still gives you a good idea of roughly where you should be.
and is that 185 and 190 assuming i just lose fat and not muscle?

Body measurements are the best way with the scale IMO. Rely on the measurements though.

Ehh... the best way to measure change... but I dont think body measurements are a good indicator of how someone is going to look at a certain height.

If youre not competing, scale weight means nothing. Body measurements work for tracking... but its not going to help someone decide on where they want their body composition

If youre just tryin to look good naked, I really think using the mirror will be the best way to decide how you want to look... 180 is a great number, but you might still look a little poofy around the middle. Or maybe 180 is too skinny for your build. All depends on the visual.
