I practically live in Canada already. Live about 5 minutes from the border. So I'd have to say I'd move to Victoria or Vancouver.

South Africa: grew up there with relatives, had some of my best childhood memories, visiting cape town this summer
New Zealand: Got family in auckland, would definitely go there, quite similiar to Canada.

New Zealand for me. Culturally similar to Australia, abosolutely beautiful country, great people, laid back, top rugby teams, hangis.

If actually relocating - New Zealand. Lax gun laws, same language (well.....sort of), nice exchange rate, low taxes and decent standard of living.
If just being forced to leave - my boat. Planning to live aboard in retirement anyway, I'd just park her somewhere nice. The Netherlands Antilles spring to mind first followed by the French West Indies.
