    Hello! I'm New!

Hi everyone! I'm new to this forum. I lost 50lbs last year and am finally at a weight that I'm happy with. I would like to lose 10 more lbs, but really I'm where I weighed at where I was in college and high school so I can't really complain.

I lost the weight mostly by changing what I eat and counting calories. I never thought I ate bad until I started to count my calories - what an eye opener! Now I'm continuing to educate myself on food and now trying to take my workout a step further. I lost the weight by using an elliptical I got for a birthday years ago. I used it mostly for hanging clothes until I got my act together. I think I got the most I could out of the elliptical and have since traded it in for a fancy rower. There's not really a gym within 30-40 minutes of me so I'm limited to what I have in my house. Which right now is just a rower and some free weights.

Now that I lost the weight, I'd like to tone my body. I'm a little loose in some areas if you catch my drift. Mostly in the thighs and buttocks. My plan is to bike to and from work, work out on the rower (which I haven't quite figured out yet - but I really start to either cramp or burn in the buttock area so I figure I must be doing something right. I'm guessing its burn since it goes away pretty quickly). I also own a couple horses so I ride those also.

Anyway, Im looking forward to learning from some of you folks!

    Congrats on the 50lbs!

You can get fret results from home workouts if you've got heavy enough weights. Body weight stuff is great also--pushups, pullups, plyos are awesome. Look around the site, find a routine you like, and get going!
