Eggs vs fried eggs? Is there a calorie difference?

Maybe this is a stupid question. But is there a difference between hard boiled eggs and fried egg? (http://whatscookingamerica.net/Eggs/FriedEgg3.jpg)

    hardboiled eggs=calories from egg

fried eggs=calories from egg and calories from fat used to fry

    hardboiled eggs=boiled

    fried eggs=fried

You typically use some sort of oil/butter when you fry an egg, which would add some calories.

    Yes.

One is fried and the other is hardboiled.

I use a non stick pan. I'm guessing it would be the same since there wasn't anything added.

Technically there's still some calories from the spray but I wouldn't put any effort into trying to calculate it.

Using a non-stick pan wouldn't add any calories as you mentioned :P

Pretty sure 1 second spray = approximately 7 calories.

Try poaching your eggs if you've never had poached before. I always eat them this way now.

Bro dont feel dumb just cause everyone keeps saying it.

Honestly, I asked my mom this same question like a week ago. The reason was I'm thinking how can it be a different calorie count, its the exact same thing? But being brought up to believe fried eggs will make me fat and boiled eggs are a God send just sticks in your head XD

Sheesh guys, he even said it might be a stupid question.

Well I fry my eggs with olive oil, so I assume that there would be extra calories because of the extra ingredient.

But I imagine any way you cook it, it has the same nutrition.
