What happened in Van last night had nothing to do with sports. The antisocial bums who rioted last night would have done the same thing if the Canucks had won.

Very conservatively speaking, 1 out of every 100 people is a complete ****ing moron. Put 100,000 people in one space and you have 1,000 utter imbeciles in the same place at the same time. Their behaviour - while it can't be condoned - is perfectly understandable and predictable.

The people who should be ashamed of their behaviour last night, are the 99 out of 100 who did nothing to stop the rioting and looting except stand there like stunned mullets and take photos and videos to post on their facebook pages

Contrary to what Canadians have been brainwashed into believing by 50 years of backwards left-wing dogma, it is OUR job to keep our cities and communities safe. The police are not there to "protect" us. They don't (and shouldn't) have the manpower or the authority to do more than interview victims and take statements after the crime is committed. It's up to "we the people" to tell the idiots what is and is not acceptable in our society.

I wasn't making the generalization that Canadians are sheeple. The flock are an international crisis that know no borders

There were two separate thoughts in my last post:

1) I dislike sheeple
2) I dislike the government-sponsored abdication of personal responsibility that is rampant in Canadian society

Both elements were present during the riots. Apologies if I didn't make that distinction clear.
