I forgot how much I like hardcore breakdowns and how good they are for lifting. I am not a fan of not being able to understand anything the singer screams...Anyone with some good songs? This is an example of what I am talking about...

I'm at work so I can't post the youtube videos at the moment but some bands with good breakdowns in songs are-
Parkway Drive <----Basically the king of breakdowns in metalcore (Boneyards,Sleepwalker,Unrest are just a few)
The Ghost Inside (Between The Lines,The Lion War,Faith or Forgiveness)
August Burns Red (Back Burner is my favorite song and it has more than one breakdown)
The Devil Wears Prada (Ben Has A Kid,Hey John What's Your Name Again)
For the most part I can understand the lyrics with these bands when they're screaming, but I'll post more later when I get home.

ADTR is ****ING AMAZING.
If you are looking for actual "BREAKDOWNS" you should look more into the hardcore realm. ADTR's earlier material (first two albums) are a lot more heavier than Homesick and What Separates Me From You. You said you aren't a fan of not understanding what the vocalist says, thus you may have a hard time finding legit, heavy, REAL breakdowns.

Lol, I just started slightly listening to Metal less than a month ago. I still don't like stuff I can't understand and most of their stuff is somewhat easy to understand. I haven't been exposed to a whole lot of other metal (As I Lay Dying, White Chapel, that's all I can remember right now).
