I am a south paw fighter in Muay Thai + TKD and I can put alot of power into my right kick, be it round house, front, side, back or crescent + I can kick a few inches above the top of my head. I am horrible, however, with my left kick. I can only kick up to the chin level and I lose balance when I hit a target with the round hose. Any methods I could do at my home to improve? I have a 75 lbs hanging heavy bag to work with.

are you dropping your left arm at all for balance?
my instructor always tell me to do repetitions on the pad with a partner/bag. I have problems with kicking with my left leg too. what i find helpful was to do repetitious side kicks(tae tad) cus it has the best balance. then progress up to the diagonal kick etc.

dont know much about muay thai sorry. but this might be useful I guess.
sounds to me like you're having a hard time lifting your legs up with balance because you're not flexible? oh and always pivot your feet when kicking for balance. dont want to give you the wrong tips brah.
experience - kyokushin karate.
