ive wanted this in a 3/4 sleeve for a couple years now but im still kinda scared to get it because everyone has it now.

I want the complete legend on my arm, top of shoulder/back/pec a traditional jap dragon, under him some a golden gate, waterfall with koi swimming up down the rest of my arm.

It fits me too seeing as i was 135 lbs wet 4 years ago and now sit at around 180lbs with a decent build. fuuu now i want it

Japanese will always be popular. It's a staple! I say go for it.

My problem right now is finding an artist and the exact design I want. I'll have to go around and look at portfolios... nobody has a site with a gallery here.

I'd say no. The Koi looks strange, the colour looks cheap and the top shading looks out of place. The lines on the shoulder blade looks to dark and shaky.

Overall: The artist is probably a good one, you can see that he/she has experience, but not in japanese art.
