Barbell Stiff Leg Deadlifts:

Felt really strong on these. Could have easily made it up to 315x10-15 but stopped there. Taking it a bit easy. I've found with both deadlifts and stiff legs that a bit of a wider stance really helps and feels more powerful and comfortable

I lowered the box even further so couldn't do quite as much weight. Also pass two days have been extremely hectic with the amount of traveling I've been doing and I'm exhausted.

5/8/2015 - Chest
Ran into a little problem during todays chest workout
my third set into flat barbell bench and I felt something in my left upper chest pop. Was painful and didn't feel good at all. Thought I was screwed. Dropped the weight by 40 lbs, still hurt. So I gave flat and incline dumbbell bench a try and that didn't bother it too much. But I went much lighter, between 50-75 lb. dumbbells. Probably did 5-6 sets of flat and 4 sets on incline. Then moved onto cable flyes and did 3x10-20 reps on that and that didnt bother it at all. Hopefully in the morning it feels better. Much much better. It actually even bruised but the pain has been less and less each day and just easily finished up shoulders and arms with no problem. I'm going to do chest in 3 days, but I'm just going to do light incline and flat dumbbell bench and cable flyes since they don't bother it much at all.

I kinda went over my preferred amount of volume here. I've gone back to lower volume after experimenting with higher volume. I've noticed with higher volume towards the end of my workouts I actually start to not look as good and my definition starts to get covered up and I look softer. 5/31/15: Quads and Calves
Squats:

I was going for 5x5, 315,365,405,455 but on my third rep with 405 I felt a pop and something move in my right quad. Couldn't squat or do anything involving quads. Second time this has happened in 3 weeks so my quad probably wasn't fulling recovered even though it felt like it. Going to take 3-4 weeks off from squats, and then work my way back up. Probably just start out with 315 for 6x6
