    Construction and lifting

Got back into construction. Trying to figure out the best routine here..

I can do full body 3x a week.

Full body when I feel like it

One body part 5x a week and bomb it.

    Upper/Lower

    HST- Mike menter way

    .......

    Any other ideas?

Low volume high intensity is a good idea but be careful of Mentzers ideas, he is a nutbar. 1 set is just not enough and training to failure all the time is dumb.

Reverse pyramid training with lowish reps, hit everything about 3 times every 2 weeks. 2-3 compounds per session with 2 sets and reps in the 3-8 rep range. Maybe 2-3 accessory exercises in a higher rep range (8-15)

Eat plenty and sleep long and you can deal with the extra load imposed by working in construction

What if I keep it simple and do full body twice a week? Push one day(Bench squats military), pull the other day(Deads, bent over rows)
