If you are switching every week, make sure you do at least one thing constant throughout the week. For example i always keep squats as my first leg movement, and DL as my first back movement, that way you can easily judge your progress.
Honestly though i would suggest trying both for 6-8 weeks, and then stick with the one you prefer. And if you get tired of it, change it 6-8 weeks later, or run it until you stop making progress.
Also i would suggest(if you like cycling workouts) to try to maybe cycle rep ranges, 1 week fail in the 3-6 rep range, and one week in the 8-15 rep range. You could also cycle rep ranges day to day.
In the end though, everything works providing you work hard, eat right and sleep/rest, so pick a routine, mix it up every once in a while, work hard, find out what works for you, and reach success. There is no one way set in stone. All roads lead to Rome
