Resistance 3 looks like trash. Not at all interested, the first felt creepy, gritty and like ww2 with aliens. Resitance 2 felt like Halo with guys with 50s fashion. No interest in a third, hope they end the series after that.

I heard the God of War team wanted to make a Nordic game like the God of War series. Could be super bad ass, probably a long shot though.

so my girlfriend bought herself a ps3 about a week and half ago and apparently its broken. she was playing assassins creed when the game froze, had to turn off the system, when it was back on the ps3 wasnt reading the disc and wouldnt eject it.

had to call sony support so we could manually take the disc out by turning a screw or something in the bottom of it. ps3 wont take discs anymore. and now she has to send it in. they will send a box for her to send it which will take 3-5 days to get here, then prbly a few weeks for them to fix it.

least to say, shes pissed.

whats everyones thoughts on Dark Souls now that you've seen E3 footage?

im def giving it a shot. i wasnt a huge fan of demons souls, but i did beat it. eventually... since i forced my way through demons souls, i feel like i can do dark souls when it comes out.

what was your favorite thing from E3?

im def giving it a shot. i wasnt a huge fan of demons souls, but i did beat it. eventually... since i forced my way through demons souls, i feel like i can do dark souls when it comes out.

the game is supposedly harder, looks great. day 1 buy for me

as far as demon souls, i gave up on it for a few days after i got it. its very difficult depending on how you approach the game. after a while the game got progressively easier for me and making sure i always got 2 guys with me on every level and making sure i partied up whenever i was a ghost was prbly the biggest key in getting thru it, im sure dark souls will be the same.

so id say if u beat demons souls, u have that advantage of 'knowing' how to go thru the game as far as being careful and watching enemy patterns etc.

i remember how i got the dragon bone smasher from 2-3 at the place where u fight the dragon with the yellow eyes. at the time i didnt even know it was there or that i needed have pure white tendency but i guess i did, was pleasently surprised and everyone i played with after that usually messaged me asking me how i got it.

I beat 2-2 last night, flamelurker dropped me twice and third time the charm.

1st time with most bosses i just am like a deer in the headlights and got him down to about 75%, second time got him to about 20% and he went into diesel mode and i raged.

Third time was close but i got my last hit when he was about to land on me and boom...22.5k souls.

Only problem i was overburdened for almost all of 2-2 and so many items i did not pick up, although i did get the dragons long sword +1 i think? So were is the best place to go now as i am i think souls level 23 or so, i dropped flamelurker at lvl 18 and i feel i may be underpowered.

Also Red faction is alot of fun, i just f*ckin love destroying **** with my hammer.

Also try Ratchet & Clank: A Crack In Time, it is a great game.

Dark Souls looks like a total copy of Demons Souls. Which is cool, but...I'd rather there be some different gameplay changes. I'm sure there is, but kinda sucks to pay $60 for a whole new game that plays literally the exact same, and characters even move the same.

ya that wiki helps a lot. DS is confusing enough without it.

the gameplay copy is fine with me. if they sprinkle some actual storyline or rpg elements into it im a happy camper.

I don't blame you for that. Took me days to grind for the platinum in Demon's Souls. Great feeling when you eventually get it but it takes motivation and patience. Some weeks I would ignore the game because I was just not in the mood for the grinding, then some other days I'd push myself to get it over with.
