    Some favorites
3 Eggs, 2 strips bacon, 2 pieces toast, coffee
Chobani Yogurt, scoop of Banana Cream whey, almonds, coffee
Packet of instant oatmeal, whey, PB, raisins.

Anything can be breakfast, just fit it into your macros with a little planning.

Get my body going as such so nothing too heavy, a light breakfast would be best.

here's what I've had this past week (2150 cals a day currently cutting):

50g protein and 1/3 cup oats.

that's my base, then I have added (and still have like 8 other chocolate bar flavours to try next week, lol):

    icecream
    M&Ms (peanut M&Ms as well)
    Oh Henry
    Hersheys Cookies n Cream

    does that count?

tomorrow I am having some suuuuuper rich and creamy Liberte yogurt .. I have cherry flavour, once I finish that, I am going to have the apple pie flavour. its insane!

in all seriousness though, meet your caloric and macronutrient requirements and have fun.

Stay away from banana unless your adding extra cardiovascular. Banana is pure sugar starch. Oats + banana = sugar crash.

I do oats, a half serving of milled flax, with a splash of unsweet almond milk, 0.02oz walnuts - raw unsalted, 1/2c plump blueberries. With 1/2 cup liquid eggwhites, that's three brown egg whites with spinach cooked into a scramble with tbsp salsa and cayenne pepper.

Total 312calories and packs a lot of nutrition. Oats and banana = about 225 calories and low protein and mostly sugar calories. Try mine, you'll burn fat and make better gains from all the fiber protein and vitamin a. Try it with cla and hot green tea instead of coffee.

I eat thus everyday. I just had a baby nine months ago, I went from 205 to 126... 9 months. If you want more gals just add more eggwhites and some fatfree cheeses

cutting breakfast will not hurt your metabolism. if you're used to eating it, then mentally you will be hungry b/c you're used to breakfast. i'm pretty sure my metabolism has been pretty strong and i regularly skip breakfast and train fasted.

an omlet with veggies you like, some cheese you like and any additional protein you like.

I also like something called chicken muffins and you can add any spice type things you like to it -- some people add garlic or salsa in the mix before its cooked (or you can add some of this in an omlet too) the muffins are just easy grab heat and goes for me:

    TASTY CHICKEN MUFFINS
12 ounce can chicken, drained and flaked
    2 eggs
1/4 cup celery, minced, 1 small stalk
    1 teaspoon dry minced onion
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    1/2 teaspoon chicken seasoning *
    2 tablespoons pimiento, minced, optional
    2 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded

Mix all of the ingredients well in a medium bowl. Spoon into 6 well-greased muffin cups. Bake at 350º 30-35 minutes, until set and lightly browned.

    Makes 6 muffins
    Can be frozen

    * Or use 1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning and 1/4 teaspoon salt

Per Muffin: 160 Calories; 9g Fat; 17g Protein; 1g Carbohydrate; trace Dietary Fiber; 1g Net Carbs
Per 2 Muffins: 319 Calories; 19g Fat; 34g Protein; 2g Carbohydrate; trace Dietary Fiber; 2g Net carbs

This is a variation of the Tuna or Salmon Muffins. You could save a bit of money by not buying expensive canned chicken and use some leftover roast chicken that's been shredded. You will need about a cup or so of meat.

I think it would help throughout the day and workout if you have something in your stomach. How can you be running at 100% with absolutely nothing in your tank? Doesnt make sense to me

it all comes down to how your body responds. i've tried working out after eating, all i get is a more lethargic feeling. i just happen to work well fasted, many people in these forums do, it's just something you get used to. but i've never been a big fan of breakfast anyway.

http://www.leangains.com/ as an example of an IF diet.

From an evolutionary stand point it makes less sense to not beable to function properly if you don't eat 3 meals a day.

    What this guy said.

I always seem to have more intense weight sessions with regular small meals vs infrequent larger ones.

    Each to their own though.
