"225, 315, 405 whatever. Yeah these benchmark digits come to mean a lot to us, the few warriors in this arena. They are, however, just numbers. I'm guilty of that sh*t too, waiting for somebody to powder my nuts cuz I did 20 reps of whatever the **** on the bench. Big f*king deal. It is all relative." G Diesel

If office work tires you out for any reason other than erosion of your immortal soul, you're already an oldfat. If that's the case you need each day to be filled with about a million and one kettlebell snatches, at least one tabata drill, and a bunch of squats and deadlifts.
That will restore enough of your vitality to wrench your soul from the clutches of Dilbertry.
I also suggest you include more murder in your diet.

This guy, is pretty much right. Actually, OP, everyone who's responded is but I think that's because the landslide of bull**** responses you've received are just a statement that your post is pretty much the same, it's a load of ****.
Honestly, working out is not meant to be easy. It is hard. We are doing what we cannot to make our bodies adapt to do would they couldn't yesterday. It is HARD.
I've only got about a minute and a half to spare to write this, so I'm now going to get straight to the point, here is exactly what you need to do. Whether you actually do it or don't, I don't care.
1: Do your compounds. Push, pull, legs. - It'll suck, but do it anyway.
2: Eat more protein, less sugar and drink more water. And don't **** with it by making excuses, no you're not going to ease into it, there's a lot of stuff you shouldn't be eating and drinking, stop. It's not an emotional issue, don't make it one, it's not about feelings, it's about choices.
3: Move more. Walk, faster. Sit, less. Carry more stuff, more often, for the hell of it. Know that the fact that it's hard for you, is a good thing. Challenge your boundaries, every ****ing day, or watch your body decline even further. Your choice.
There, I think I just gave you a minute more than I'd planned. Make use of it.A man can only be beaten in two ways: if he gives up, or dies.

No brain, no gain.
