Getting summer ready with ERGOBOLIC!!!
Thanks to the guys over at ERGOGENIX for selecting me to log ERGOBOLIC!!!
http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/er...ergobolic.html
About Me:
I've been an athlete my whole life. Played many sports since I was 4 years old. The number of sports I played has slowly tapered down until now where the only one I still play competitively is hockey. I started lifting about a year and a half ago. Was almost instantly hooked. I finally got my diet in check and have since bulked to gain nearly 30 lbs. I did so however, way too fast. Got strong but also got very fat. I started losing weight about 6 months ago in which time i've lost 20 lbs! Now that hockey season is over (sort of) it's time to really do work!
Nearly two years ago I was diagnosed with an eye disease called keratoconus which affects the vision. In some cases very mildly, in others like mine vision deteriorates very much so. My vision was reduced to 20/200 in one eye and 20/80 in the other. Unfortunately the disease is not "cure-able" per say but it can be treated with contact lenses. When diagnosed I was completely shocked that I may be losing my vision. Right then I made the decision to never take anything for granted. The weights have been my refuge whenever the disease gets me down. I've since had one eye surgery which was a success and is supposed to have made my eye "stable" so it shouldn't get any worse. Now all i'm focused on is school, hockey and crushing it in the gym
EDIT: Took most of this write-up directly from my previous log. no point in re-writing it
The Plan
Drop 4 lbs of fat in 4 weeks! Simple as that. So far during my cut i've kept all of my strength while losing over 25 lbs. I also set a squat PR a few weeks ago. I will be dieting strictly to get ready for summer and trying to set some more PR's on the way
Diet
35% Protein (Chicken, Chicken, Chicken, Lean Beef, Trutein, Greek Yogurt etc...) ~200g
35% Carbs (Sweet Potato, Brown Rice, Oats etc...) ~200g
30% Fats (Olive Oil, Natty PB etc...) ~70g
Im currently eating at 2000 cals every day and losing 5 lbs in 6 weeks on it. This may drop slightly during the log as I reduce carbs even further. On days that I play hockey I generally eat a few more carbs during the day and a big carb meal before the game/practice which gets my carb count up to about 200g. On just lifting days it generally stays a bit below 200g and protein goes up a little bit. I'll touch on this later on.
Current Strength Level
All lifts shown below are done with strictly good form
BB Bench: 205 x 3
Squats: 245 x 3
Deadlifts TBD
The reason I have no deadlift max shown is because my forearms are all screwed up so deadlifting hasn't been a consistent part of my routine. Squats are done below parallel. Weak lifts I know. I have been doing light deadlifts lately and focusing on keeping good form.
Workout Schedule
I have a four bodypart split. I never have a complete day off because I only don't lift on days where I have hockey. A week might look like this.
Day 1: Legs/Abs
Day 2: Back/Shoulders
Day 3: Hockey
Day 4: Chest
Day 5: Hockey
Day 6: Arms
I'll upload my specific lifts every lifting day starting tomorrow with chest. Thanks again to Ergogenix! I'll update this log every day with very few exceptions along the way. Thanks for viewing!
I took my first two doses of Ergobolic today and should continue to do so tomorrow. PR's here I come!!!
Other Supplements
CL OT, Fish Oil and White Flood
Allmax Creapure

As you can likely see my lifts are pretty weak, but to be honest many months ago when i was 210 lbs as compared to about 179 right now i was lifting the same amount of weight! So i am improving. I felt like I could lift all day as i didn't really get tired

2 caps of ERGOBOLIC later
1 x Myofusion Choc PB (got it for free, trutein is still my go-to)
.5 x Trutein Cinnabun in Greek Yogurt and Oats
Thanks to everyone who tuned in today. I quickly want to reference to another Ergobolic log that's going on right now (ILovemyLuxe) i think his username is. There was a post made in there about the Sutherlandia Fructecsens and how it can enhance the effects of other supps like caffeine. I'm wondering if this is actually the case because my appetite was almost non-existent while i was at work all day and im thinking this may be the result of a combonation of white flood and the 'bolic. Any thoughts?
yay!

2 caps of ERGOBOLIC later

The only thing i can say about Ergobolic at this point is that for the last three nights i've had some really %@#$%$ up dreams lol. Not that it really is a big deal. The first two nights on it i had a bad sleep so that worried me but last nights sleep was good. Seems as though it is agreeing with my stomach as all is good on that front. Can anyone else who's been taking it comment on my having wierd dreams? See you guys tomorrow for LEGS. Getting up at 5am tomorrow for the leg day before school. Don't normally do this but i have to get some stuff done to my foot tomorrow afternoon which will keep me away from legs and cardio for at least a few days. cya tomorrow!
