Yeah man, it impressed me too! I love watching those weights go up, but I start thinking "Oh my God I am DOING IT!" and then the weights falter because I lose concentration

ON A PERSONAL NOTE

Yesterday before service I found out that a friend and fellow pastor died of a massive heart attack while watching his granddaughter in her play in NYC. They had just lost one of their sons to cancer about two months ago, and it was sudden. He was doing well with the treatments, but died while playing a game with his mom. I heard that when Paul died, he turned to his wife, and simply smiled as he could and gave a little wave, as he knew what was happening.
One of the reasons I try to work out so much and eat right is because I want to be one of those pastors who not only lives spiritually well to set an example, but healthy for the same reasons. Paul was a great example to his people, and as he has "gone on to glory" he will be missed. So if you could, please keep the Stockmeyer family in your thoughts and/or prayers - and for other families that you may know who are facing the same sort of issue. And if you can, take the extra step and send a card or phone call - they mean more than you think
Anyway, hit those PR's and stay healthy my brothers and sisters!

Man, I sure hate to hear that. During one of the big meals this week I started feeling a little rough and started to wonder.... and believe it or not, that exact same scenerio went through my mind. I hope his wife fullly understands the meaning behind the smile and the little wave.

Thanks pritch. I think I will be doing a clean bulk and make sure I don't get too carried away. These next two weeks while lifting light, I will try to lose what I gained, then I will be sure to get in enough cals to start pushing some wt around. I went from 144# Monday morning to 152.5# Friday night. I don't see how....Friday before I made it home I only ate breakfast before leaving the beach about 9:30 AM and a burger at 4:30 PM.

Sorry, Shelia and I were both on the jetski and no way of getting pics. This was our first time on one and between the big waves and the salt water in our eyes, it was pretty tough. But, it was fun. I didn't have time to be bothered w/ pics at the buffets....I had serious business to attend to.

40 min fasted LI treadmill @ 4.0 this morning and also did some gripper work while walking.

3 scoops pineapple Con-Cret
1 scoop Wild Berry Gluta-Tren. Shelia took a drink while I was getting ready and she said, "I don't know what I just drank, but it sure was good". Agreed, now get away from my Gluta-Tren.


I just did super sets of Incline Bench and Lat pulldowns for 45 min.

I was trying to get a better idea of my 5 rep max on inclines. Beginning the 5 x 5 Monday.

We will draw the winner July 4th. No strings attached, such as requiring a log, etc. I'll pay the shipping.

I checked out your Squat vid a few pages back. Heck of a job @ 290, and then 300. Squatting double your bodyweight is pretty heady stuff, bud. Great job!
