Different grips with BB curls: what's the difference?

When switching the grips on BB curls, are both bicep muscles hit (biceps, biceps brachii)? Which grips do what?

    What? Biceps = biceps brachii.

If you switch to a pronated grip m. brachioradialis (a muscle in your fore arm) will take over as main elbow flexor. m. brachialis is always active during elbow flexion, does'nt matter what grip you use.

    ^^^ This

Using a palms down or pronated grip hits the forearm harder..

yes, close grip works both heads equally, wide grip works the short head more (good for the biceps peak).

I'm a huge fan of hammer grip, which increasingly incorporates the forearms. Varying width can target the two different heads of the bicep.
Bodybuilding is 60% training and 50% diet. Yes that adds up to 110%, because that's what you should be giving it. Change the inside, and the physique will follow.
