Chest and back not getting sore

Whenever i workout chest or back I feel the pump in the gym, but even 2-3 days after i still don't feel any muscle fatigue as i do with my other muscle groups. They also are (in my opinion) the two muscle groups lacking pretty hard. I am not sure, but i'm almost certain i am doing something wrong.

I recently started Kris Gethin's 12-week workout and here is a recent back workout:
    Reverse Grip Pulldown:
1 warm up set of 8-10 reps
    3 sets of 8-10 reps

    Bent Over Barbell Rows:
1 warm up set of 8-10 reps
    3 sets of 8-10 reps

    Hyperextension:
1 warm up set of 10-12 reps
    2 sets of 10-12 reps

    Straight Arm Pulldown:
    7 sets of 12-15 reps

    Chest workout:
    Flat Dumbbell Press:
    3 warm-up sets of 6-10 reps
2 sets to failure in 6-10 reps

    Incline Flyes:
2 sets to failure in 8-10 reps

    Straight Arm Pullover:
2 sets to failure in 10-12 reps

I followed this to the letter, but only felt slight soreness in my chest and almost no soreness in my back. Does this mean i am not lifting properly, or is it okay, i'm not sure...

I always try to be strict on form, but i am a newbie, so i may not be doing exact form because of that. I usually watch videos on the exercise and pick a weight that i can rep anywhere from 8-15 and fail. So definitely not trying to lift with my ego. I just feel if i get my chest and back bigger i wont look soooo small, but without the soreness i sorta feel defeated. I am definitely pushing it in the gym though and feel an intense burn/pump.
