Taken from a previous thread,
"glycergrow is detrimental to actual performance"
"GMS pulls water out of your muscle cells and into the interstitium. This definitely does not spell good news for athletic performance unless endurance training."
So is this an unsafe/counterproductive supp or what? Do people just buy it for the pump look and it doesn't really do much else/is unhealthy?

Well at least you provided some science to back up your wild claims. Now we can have an intelligent discussion on this topic.
Look under your chair. YOU GET A REP, AND YOU GET A REP, REPS FOR EVERYONE! If I get a rep, you get a rep, every time. Give me a link to make my life a little easier.
If you don't give me a link and you didn't post in the thread you rep'd me in, I'm not gonna go searching for you. I'll get everyone on recharge.

Exactly. GMS for the most part is counterproductive to hypertrophy and is only bought for the purely aestetic pump(and emulsification if using ArA how neuron recommends). It pulls water out of muscle fibers and compresses them whereas creatine can actually make its way into muscle and draw water in. More intracellular fluid = more microtrauma = creatine helps with hypertrophy. GMS hinders it because it does the opposite. There is a good diagram or creatine and GMS that Pinch has posted that I can't find at the moment.

Haha I currently do take both (only for my ArA cycle, I would never use GMS otherwise). GMS pumps>>>creatine pumps, but ArA is an awesome pump product as well. I love ArA as a mass builder so I don;t believe it hinders gains a huge amount, but I've also taken Flashover(CM+GMS) without ArA and made good gains with awesome pumps there too...

This is disturbing me now. I currently am taking GlycerGrow and I am loving the pumps I'm experiencing with it but I do not want to be shortchanging myself especially if taking the GMS is preventing me from reaching hypertrophy. I do drink about 2 gallons of water and 5g creatine mono daily so I am hoping that will help.

It isn't a huge negative.. Ever have a sip of alcohol or take an aspirin? You were probably hindering muscle growth more there than GMS probably ever could... It isn't a big deal one way or the other
Check my first log. I used GMS. If that is counterproductive, than I don't know what productive looks like plus ArA + GMS is a good thing (more ArA>>>SMALL negatives of GMS)X-Factor http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=131209743
