    Sensible diet

    and

Heavy Chest workouts 1-2 times a week with free weight Bench, Inclines and Dips.

Forget the cable crossovers and pec decks for hundreds of repetitions.

    Would help this.

I'm not to the point of worrying about it myself, but my chest fat is starting to feel a lot more squishy and has an elastic feel. I'm hoping to hit my chest hardcore and bring in some muscle. I have a feeling my chest will be the most difficult part to lose. Cheers goes out to some major work in the gym and what goes into my mouth.

    Yep.

And the main factor being a sensible diet also.

Don't train your chest anymore than twice a week, if your training it more than every 4 days then your not training it hard enough.

Stick to about 8 total sets of 2-3 basic movements.

I gained 10 kgs to my Incline benchpress (for my 8-10 rep sets) in the last 4 weeks and have already noticed changes in my chest from lifting the heavier weight.

Stick with heavy lifting. 3 to 4 sets with a 60 second rest between each set. If you have not completely obliterated your chest to the point that even 1 dip is impossible, then you're not lifting hard/heavy enough.

Man tits suck, but alot of us have em. Definitly hit the weights! If you work your shoulders, back, and chest equally then that will definitly give you more definition up top and those bitch tits will start to look like pecks. Then do at least a 2 mile run after your work out, and count the calories.

I recently asked the same question on another forum. Changing your body composition actually has very little to do with burning calories. Calories are just a man made measurement of the heat needed to "burn" fat. Changing your body composition is more about your insulin and glucose levels. Those are your body's first choice for energy. If you lower those levels, your body will use its stored fat for energy. Working out decreases insulin resistance and depletes glucose levels, and what you eat is really half of getting in the shape you want to be in.

Yes, absolutely. How you get that deficit doesn't really matter either (through eating less or moving more). Some people just prefer not to have to do cardio, so they just eat less; I am not one of those people (my deficit comes through diet & exercise/cardio). The other health benefits of cardio are still worth it, so I say do cardio to help create your caloric deficit and to gain better cardiovascular health as well as other benefits.

    Gotta keep cutting.
    I've dropped 80lbs & can almost wear a 32 straight leg.
Still got some fat on my lower chest.

so, I keep cutting & lifting heavy.
I do see definition forming so hopefully next 10lbs as I don't have that much more to loose.

If you lower those levels, your body will use its stored fat for energy. Working out decreases insulin resistance and depletes glucose levels, and what you eat is really half of getting in the shape you want to be in.

im new and have some questions

okay first off im 6'0 220lbs idk my bmi but im sure its all fat. now ive been trying to run which is been doing me good but all i see is muscle growth and fat loss in my legs. and i need to get rid of this keg and pair of man boobs. so what kind of work outs can i do at home seeing as i have no money for a gym and no friends with weights.

also if anyone can point me in the direction of a good diet because my house is never filled with healthy food or snacks. mainly because i have no idea whats good and whats not...oh and whats a good amount of calories to be in taking to loose weight?

sorry for all the questions but thanks for anyone who can help me!

    Simple stuff.

Some don't like cardio and don't do it. Fact is you will lose weight quicker doing it along with a good diet but it isn't absolutely necessary. As someone pointed out it has many other benefits.

Yes, you cant spot reduce. At 195. Ive got unwanted fat around the lower pecs. At 165. It will be gone.

Exercises Ive found excellent for building and tightening the lower pecs, are dips, decline presses and flyes. And dumbell pullovers and reverse grip chins.

The lower a man takes his overall bodyfat. The less fat he will have on his pecs. Just like the lower abdomen these are problem areas for many men. Supreme nutrition and hard training are going to definately improve things.

I'm pretty certain that burning calories decreases BF. Burning calories produces a deficit/equilibrium in calorie uptake vs burn/use. Therefore, if you have a deficit your body will rely on stored energy (fat) in adipose cells for it's workout/daily use. If you burn what you eat, you simply don't gain fat. To reiterate, cardio is not only good for burning calories (thus using fat when a deficient state is acquired), but more obviously heart health, allowing you to do more cardio workout with less stress on your heart. Furthermore, burning that fat increases your cardiac efficiency, which will in turn help you simply feel healthier as well. I'm on the fat loss path too, and cardio is fun now. I do sprints and rowing, I've lost 45 pounds since January with no supplements, just exercise and saying no to crap food. Motivation is that I'm pre-med, and want to be a paragon of health and fitness when I'm an MD.

From my experience when my fat does this, is after I am about to lose it. Like it starts getting lose and less firm

This old bump was worth it just to see a post from sentinel3 again.

BTW, most of the advice in this thread is nonsense. All you can really do is adjust your diet to drop fat and wait for it to come off.
