    Sex before working out?

    anyone masturbate or have sex before a work out? has it effected ur energy and output in the gym or u guys dont believe in that? i personally do not engage in sexual intercourse or masturbation prior to a workout. Iv done the masturbation one before and my work out was okay but the sex one, dam one of the worst work outs iv ever had.

    There are no studies that I have ever seen that say ejaculating after sex/masturbation, etc. lowers testosterone blood levels. In fact, it says that it will have no effect or may actually increase testosterone levels. The reason why your performance is lacking is due to endorphins. Ejaculating releases endorphins(pain killing) natural hormones in the body. This will in turn effect your strength and energy before your workout, thus causing a potential "bad" day at the gym.

    In fact, being horny or viewing some porn without releasing your baby batter (before the gym) may in fact be beneficial to your workouts.

    ya thats one reason i look at porno prior to workouts or have phone sex with the girlfriend haha. Even better , when theres hot girls at the gym it pumps u up!

    Yes, horrible both ways for me. All energy and drive sapped pretty much especially after sex I always feel like I've been electricuted or something all energy sapped out. I've attempted to attend soccer practice after sex as well as attempting to workout both epic fails and horrible sessions. After a couple times concluded personally not capable of performing on the field or in the weight room after sex or masturbation.
