Hi, i was just wondering about whats the best type of cardio to lose fat with losing as little muscle as possible?
Its coming upto summer so iv been getting back into my running. Hitting a good 5-6 miles each time but i wondered is it best to do cardio with a weight vest or weighted rucksack? Or just normally?

Run intervals on the tredmill on an incline.
For example
I do the following run at 8.5kmph
Start on incline 5 increase by 1 each minute or 30 seconds until you can go no further then drop the incline back down to say 1 do a recovery for 2 minutes then repeat.
I find doing this gets my heart rate at its highest which is usually around 172 according to the stupid handled tredmill heart rate monitor.
I find this works well for me I only do it a couple of times a week.Men's best successes come after their disappointments
