I knew this woman at my last job that was marrying this "pretty boy" type. Granted, he was still less ****gy looking than a lot of dudes (nowadays), but very "metro" in his own way. She said at some point something about the fact that she was glad that her husband (to be) was metro because if they had a daughter, he'd be sensitive and understanding of womanly issues that girls face.

I cant say for sure if she's right or not (cuz I havent seen enough examples), but being the daughter of a man that worked both with his hands and intellect, sport and beer loving, stoic, non-emotional manly-man, I couldnt disagree more. If a girl doesnt have some sort of real man figure in her life, then how is she supposed to be prepared to interact with real man later in life? I just dont see how having a real manly dude in a girl's life is a negative.

Who knows though. I dont know sheet about raising children, so fukc me.
