I'm 3 days out from the WBFF BC champs here in Vancouver, Canada. I've been doing low carb high fats moderate protein for the last 8 weeks, cycling carbs in when i "saw" fit for a 24-36 hour period which was usually every 7-10days.
Starting weight was 210 and in this picture i'm 188.
I'm also using layne nortons peak week advice.
Sorry for pic quality, i have a shoot tomorrow and will upload those asap!

Well done
Did you reach ketosis? or were u numbrs jst slighty above to keep u out of it?
Also, how did peak weak turn out since running "keto" is far different then a normal prep. I guess main concer would be insulin sensitivity, Read that sometimes when switching off, ppl see an instant fat regain.
Only reason I ask is cuz I ran keto for 8wks and jst got off of it @ my 3wks out mark and decided to run high protein moderate carb the rest of the way to start introducing carbs back into my system.
So far (3.5days off of keto) I have more enegy for my workouts, moods better, and im starting to seem more vascular/tighter.
None the less, sorry for the wall of txt, cldnt sleep

Hey oak! I did reach ketosis at one point around the 3rd week in... however i stopped checking and paid more attention to the mirror and scale rather than some stick! The main thing , whether i was in keto or not, i was losing 2-3 lbs a week with next to no cardio till the 3 weeks out!
The transition from keto to laynes peak week has been awesome thus far! I marked down a my macros about 15% from what he had suggested with special attention to the carbs considering i was under 50gfor 4 weeks prior to this load.BSc UNB

Thanks, but this isn't misc... clearly contest prep, fitness/muscle model or bodybuilding, if its done right they're isn't much difference besides the fact bodybuilders usually strive to be leaner(4-5% on stage where muscle/fitness is more like 6-7%)
