*I'm hungry* a bulk log
I'm Cohny and this is going to be my bulk log. I'll update it tomorrow with way more information but I'm mad hungry right now and need to get to sleep soon. The reason I'm making this now so I can record and remember today's stats ha
So..
Didn't get enough sleep last night, need to work on that ALOT
Squat-
completed 3x5 of 145 *PR*
This is the first time I really struggled but it felt really good. I feel like I managed to keep my form good through out all of them too going at least to parallel on every rep. Feels good
Bench-
completed 3x5 of 135 *PR*
Really cleaned up my form today and it felt so much better. My shoulders were hurting after last time and I struggled with 130. 135 this week was easier and a PR for me.
Dead Lift-
Completed 1X5 of 215 *PR*
Was really feeling these today and went up nicely for another PR.
Overall-
Today was pretty good. I felt good and lifted more than ever on all three lifts, however, my sleep is really lacking and I know its going to **** my gains if I keep this up. I need to find a way to get sleepy around 9 instead of 11. 6 hours isn't going to cut it and I can feel it. I also need to eat more, my squats were much much harder than last time and I feel like it's because my recovery skills are lacking. I need to get this bulking lifestyle down pat, and quickly too.

I couldn't figure out how to edit the last post so I'll just add to it here
I used to be fat and then I lost a lot of weight, like 50 something pounds. I didn't manage to save much of my muscle when I did it though so now I'm in the process of getting bigger and it's pretty sick. I love going to the gym again. I used to just bike for an hour or so but now I've hit the weights. I did a split for month or two and was pleased with the results but now I've realized I could get significantly better results if I were stronger and decided to do ss. I've gone about 6 times now and here are my current lifts.
Squat 115->155
Bench 125->135
Deadlift 175->225
Press 75->95
Row 85-> 115
All are way low for sure but that's exactly why I'm doing this and I'm starting to see better results already compared to what I was doing before. Pretty pumped
My schools gym was closed over MD weekend so I'll post back tomorrow, hopefully with some new PRs

Good progress man, whats your training like? I got a feeling your squat is going to shoot up pretty soon haha, strong ratio to bench.

I train every other day taking 2 days off here or there if I feel beaten down. I feel like my squat is about to shoot up too. I started out really low so I'd get my form perfect and its been progressing up nicely. The only think that sucks is my hip flexors are a little short or something because they feel strained at the bottom of the motion. I think I may just be leaning too far forward so I'm gonna try and sit back more and see if it helps today.

Squat 145->165 *PR*
Bench 135->140
Row 125->120
Squats went great today, I was feelin them. I did a set of 155 and just felt like I could bang out 165 so I did that for 3 sets instead. 175 will be easy on Thursday I think. Definitely pleased here
My bench, however, was pretty weak. I tried 145, an increase of 10, and did a set with my buddy spotting me and helping me on the last 2. I lowered it to 140 and did 4 reps and then 5 reps after a 5 min break. I think I'll just re do 140 on thursday for forms sake.
Rows were good despite the drop in weight. I was watching some pendlay videos and realized I was doing a different row so I made sure I did it right today and it was harder but felt better. 130 on thursday hopefully
Recovery's been good I got some good sleep over the weekend and cut the cals too. A little fat is cool but not too much, I like being leanish

Squat 165->175
Press 95->95
Deadlift 225->245
Squats went up nicely again. 185 on sat.
I tried to go up to 100 with my press but could only get 4 reps so after that I did 3 sets of 5 with 95 like tuesday, hopefully I can move up next time or ill be looking at a 1.25 pound plate purchase. Not too pleased but it is what it is.
Deadlifting was good today. I went up 20lbs and it was pretty damn hard for the first time. Feels good man
My recovery wasn't too great again so far this week. I'm still having trouble getting enough sleep. Getting up for work at 6 is making it hard to go to bed at 930 but it needs to happen if I'm going to keep progressing.
