    Cannot straighten my arm

After my biceps workout, i find it very painful to straighten my arm. My elbow is comfort only at a 90 degree angle. This only happens with my biceps....All other workouts, even if i push myself to the limit, the sore is bearable.

But whenever i do biceps workout, i pains slightly the next day and more the day after that.....it pains like hell to stretch my arms completely. What could be the problem....Somebody please help me.....

it took me about 3 months to condition mine, yours probably isn't as bad though
you can still keep a pump without the pain if you don't over exert the tendons

where is the pain exactly ?? you are not giving out much info here man.

if its in your forearm near your elbow then its possibly tendon inflammation, i got this as well and taking a 1 week minimum time off the gym.

get your self some glucosamine and msm joint formula, some cissus too. take advil and chill for a week or 2 <-- NO LIFTING ANYTHING then see if you still get pains at the gyms.

if it hurts to work out, dont listen to any one telling to push on and take some time off because it can get worst man.

today i done some light forearm curls and will if i get any pains tomrow

No the pain is not on the forearm. Its on the lower biceps above the elbow joint. The pain starts after a biceps workout routine and resides after 3days.. and resumes after the next biceps workout. And it doesn't hurt to workout after 3 days of pain. Also if i keep my arms bended it doesn't hurt. It hurts when i try to stretch or straighten the arm

So what are you suggesting ? that if the pain never goes away, i should stop working out ?

might just be doms (delayed onset muscle soreness). I got it a few days ago after working biceps for the first time in a while. it's normal. the pain peaks at around 48-72 hours after your workout and you cant straighten your arms or it hurts. just give it time and ibuprofen. also get your protein in to repair the muscle tears.

you'll probably look like this for a few days

    Real advice OP:

    Take Super Cissus religiously everyday.
Take 1 aleve and 3 ibuprofen once or twice a day the day of and the two days following your bicep workouts.
    Eat lots of protein.

Continue to do bicep workouts but go lighter and focus on form. In fact check this guys form that he uses in this video, try to replicate that.

Continue this regimen for 30-40 days and you'll probably feel a lot better.

Sounds like DOMS. For it to happen after every single workout though definitely doesn't sound right. Don't know what to tell you man. Might be best to ask a doc.

    I GET THE SAME THING

Feels like tearing near where the bicep meets the inner elbow but I also get it at the side of my elbow too. Arm can flex about 110-130 degrees and then BOOM it hurts like fuark and you can't straighten your arm.

One thing that I did that greatly reduced getting this effect was to lighten up on negative movements i.e. only focus on concentric (muscle-shortening) movement rather than eccentric (muscle lengthening) movement. Try a workout with using little to no negative tension and see how it works for you and slowly add more until you find the sweet spot.

    Lightbulb

I know this is an old thread but its an important issue that worries many lifters
    E
The reason it hurts is because your elbow area is one of the most used and coordinated joints. Your form is in a sense naturally perfect and your bicep is a naturally conditioned muscle used for our ancestors most important job, to lift an object off the ground and examine it.
Therefore you are workin your biceps out so well its gettin a feeling that you should feel after all your workouts which is a term i just made up called "perfect doms".
Thats if it hurts in your lower bicep which is a seperate less dominat head than the primary bicep head and your arm should hurt on that inside forearm large tendon like part that hangs out if you have your arm parallel to your shoulder on a 90% angle and your fist facing forward (try this if u havent i love doin it) then bend your wrist out so the top of youe hand is facing behind you to the right (right hand)

I know i sound like a retard who doesnt know **** but im pretty messy atm its the end of my "cheat day" aka smashed as fk day but yea read between the lines its all fairly factual but i dunno why it keeps reoccuring, usually after like 3 bicep days it conditions itsself and is less apparent but i suggest you have a forearm session half a week after your bicep day just after a normal workout ie leg day just to add a little extra attention to your forearms which are basically the most important muscle in bodybuilding in my personal oppinion.
Again yea im not myself atm and first post i seem like a ****kicker but im sure this is the problem for anyone sifting through the internet with bicep pain.

Also yea form over weight anyday unless you know how to throw your body in it and utilize negatives and **** yea il stop typing now getting abit spastic over here in ma littlw cooked cornwr yall have fun now heave my warning and dont be a beta phaggot in any situation you are the testosterone posessor and you must chase that upmost important molecule to unlock the power of cock
