Yeah, I gave the Mayor a column in my online magazine. I wanted a voice from a fan; a regular guy and not a fellow sportswriter or an athlete. We have had folks like Kevin Levrone, Bill Grant, Samir Bannout, Robby Robinson, Steve Michalik, John DeFendis, Sandra Blackie, Ally Moyer, Dan Severn, Bill Romanowski and Tony Mandarich all part of our staff writer's stable. I wanted to add a different element to that All-Star cast.

With forums, blogs and social media being such a huge tool these days to get your opinion heard, I figured that bringing someone in from one of those outlets would be a good idea.

The Mayor and I have become friends after "meeting" one another through the MD boards and I'm happy to have him a part of my publication.
