Want to be in, but do not want to post pics of myself in revealing clothing to my bodyspace.
I have the pics with the current USA Today website in them. Can I just upload at the end of the contest along with the end of contest pics?

i just joined the challenge a few minutes ago and i'm super excited to begin! i'm sick of letting "life" get in the way of my fitness goals, so it's time for me to take control.
this is just what i needed to light a fire under my booty and get me going.

Starting on Monday so I am getting all my bad eating out of the way this weekend! So be prepared for the food baby that I will be carrying in my before pics. lol I also will be doing professionally shot after pics, not because I think it will help with the win, but just because I want the extra motivation to not look like a slouch in photos that I'm paying for.

Progress Review: +6 Weeks (+2 Weeks of Transformation Challenge)
Body Pics:noneBody Stats:Note:
Stat: Day 1 / +4 Weeks / +6 Weeks / Difference
Date: 5/9/11 — 6/5/11 — 6/19/11
Height: 5’8.0
Weight: 172.5 lbs / 174.0 lbs / 176 lbs / +2.5 lbs
Body Fat: 20.0 % / 19.5% / 18% / -2%
Waist: 35.0″ / 35.0″ / 35″ / 0
Thighs: 23.0″ / 23.0″ / 23.5″ / +0.5″
Calves: 15.25″ / 15.0″ / 14.75″ / -0.5″
Chest: 38.0″ / 37.5″ / 37.5″ / 0
Forearms: 11.0″ / 10.0″ / 10″ / -1″
Arms: 14.0″ / 14.0″ / 14.25″ / +0.25″
Shoulders: 46.5″ / 46.5″ / 46″ / -0.5″
Hips: 34.0″ / 34.0″ / 34.25″ / +0.25″
Neck: 15.0″ / 15.0″ / 15″ / 0
* Think I measured the initial Forearm stat and it should probably be 10-10.5″ for Day 1.I was feeling bloated and thought I was getting fat so I decided to do some body measurements 2 weeks ahead of schedule.
(Normally I would do my measurements monthly with pics on 3 sides included)
Today it’s just body stats and no pics for comparison.
I was VERY surprised with the outcome!
I lost some more body fat AND gained some weight! Some parts of my body got tighter and some gained some meat.
Going to have to keep up with the training and lift hard and eat well!
Just wish I get enough rest and I am sure the progress would be even better if I did!

here we go again...
Just entered and uploaded pics last night. Love these challenges to keep me motivated and on track! It's so hard to stay in line during the summer, but hubby and I are doing this together and we are coming up on our 10 year anniversary! Gotta keep the "spark" going, and this is a good way to do it.
My goal is to build more muscle and lean down more...still need to work on the mommy tummy that likes to linger around. Showing my kids that being healthy and fit is a lifestyle choice, and I hope that it is something that will stay with them in their adult lives.
Bring on the next 12 weeks! Onward to Sept. 20th!

That is the great thing about pics and keeping up with your body stats. When you see results, your desire to cheat disappears... hard work pays off. Keep it up and happy transforming!

To get to 10% Body Fat and lift the following by July 29, 2011:Note:
Squats: 5 reps @ 270 lbs * Achieved on 7/1/11 - Next Goal is 300 lbs by 7/29/11
Overhead Press: 5 reps @ 140 lbs
Bench Press: 5 reps @ 200 lbs
Bent-over Rows: 5 reps @ 200 lbs
Deadlift: 5 reps @ 320 lbs
Great month so far!
I was able to achieve my squat goal of 1.5x BW Squat 5x5 on my last session which made me very excited! In general my lifts are progressing real well and everything are in a respectable amount of weight. After reviewing my last log and vids of those lifts, I can see a definite difference and improvement in my lifts!
Diet for the most part have been better.
I think I am eating properly at least 90% of the time. Still giving myself a cheat meal every now and then as a reward for a tough session that week!
I may need to eat more to keep the progress in my lifts and gain more meat in my bones.
Definitely enjoying MyFitnessPal as a great app to easily input my meals and find out about my daily calorie intake. Actually surprised to know that instead of eating less I NEED to eat more!
Overall I think the progress this month is amazing and can't wait to see next months progress review!

Today I am going to do the following:
Squat: 280 lbs 5x5 (New goal is 300 lbs 5x5 by 7/29/11)I have done the following in my previous session:
Overhead Press: 115 lbs 5x5
Deadlift: 320 lbs 1x5 (Goal reached 3 weeks early if successful)
Weighted Pull-ups: +50 lbs 3x5Bench Press: 180 lbs x 5/5/5/4/4 (Stalled and will do a 2nd try for 5x5 next session)I do Stronglifts 5x5 Beginner program and trying it for the 3rd time.
Bent-over Rows: 180 lbs 5x5
Weighted Chin-ups: +50 lbs 3x5
Weighted Dips: +70 lbs 3x5
Learned many things from the other times I stopped prematurely for one reason or another.
Once I complete Stronglifts 5x5 Beginner I plan to do either Mad Cow 5x5 or 5/3/1.
Leaning more towards 5/3/1/ due to time constraints.
PS:
If you check my blog you can see how much nastier I looked when I started working out!"Fear is the Mind Killer!"

Bad start
Quite the inauspicious start for me. Can't get this diet to even begin to listen to me, the workouts are just not making me feel like I am doing anything. I should never have stopped for almost 2 months, getting back into it takes a month just to get back to where you left from. Can't remember to bring my camera to upload my pics, guess I don't really want it. keep up the good work everyone.

I stopped for 3 months because I got sick and then I had other priorities that took much of my time.
You have to find a diet and workout program that works for you then stick with it!
It took me a while to get my diet improved and I still need to improve it every week!
You just need to get a routine and stick to it.
Eat something every 3 hours, let it be a whole meal or a shake.
As for the workout, I deloaded upto 50% of what I achieved the last time I lifted.
2 months later I just did a 1.5x BW Squat 5x5 PR!
Don't give up and just keep on trying.
Even failure AND mistakes ARE good learning experiences!
I personally have failed and made many mistakes and I just take those as something to learn from and improve on the next time around!
You can do it!"Fear is the Mind Killer!"
