still think im having trouble with my knees, as hard as i try to push them out they still seem to come to far forward when i start to get close to the hole. the only solution i can think of would be to widen my stance and point my toes out farther. thoughts?

I understand that you're forcing your knees out but are you really focusing on sitting the weight back and holding the weight on your heels and outside of your feet? next squat session try to spread the floor as well as breaking at the hips and forcing your ass back.

Get a better arch and really push your hips back before you start the decent. You're pretty much just going straight down. If you push the hips back, your knees will stay in line.

both comments are rude and not helpful
-- as said before-- you aren't really sitting all that far back into your suit- doing so will help to load the suit and prevent your knees from shooting in at the bottom. Also, make a conscience effort to flare and sit back the entire time-- it doesn't look like you have anyone there helping you-- coaches/teammates being there and pointing out what is wrong has always helped me.best meet lifts- 935/660/715

i do box squats pretty frequently, probably just as much as i do regular/geared squats.
my knees dont really shoot inwards, the main problem im having is them shooting forward over the toes when i get towards the bottom of my squat. i dont really have anyone here to train with consistantly, i've got a guy here who competes raw and puts up good numbers, 1700 lbs, but he's been gone alot recently gearing up for deployment. everyone else here trains bb style.Best Multiply Competition Lifts @ 220 lbs
